I'm holding out for some loops in 3/4 time, but I'd also like to see a percussion track. Shakers, maraccas, tambourines, finger clicks, hand claps... they're the kinds of sounds I've always wanted to put on my songs, but since I barely have a sense of rhythm, when I record myself doing it, I keep slipping up! Strings would be much appreciated too, and some more piano.

Very much hoping Jamstudio has a future; it has so much potential! I'm letting you know now though, personally I really doubt I'd be prepared to pay for extra instruments etc. It's just not in my nature (or my wallet!), I'd rather manage on what I can get for free. I expect there'll be other who will though, if that's your business plan.

yea another track would be awesome... even like... splitting up the bass, snares and cymbols to give us control over making our "own" kits

i wonder what the limitations are, if any, of flash

$10 a month is nothing, I pay $40 for a gym membership and rarely go...  If we could do a whole year for $100 or something, it'd be nice to lock in a good rate.... I'd sign up if there were more pages for sure

I think if there was a SAVE to MP3 function and possibly a way to add vocals...and more sounds, I would do it.

Yeah, adding vocals would be good, especially if there was like a 3 band equaliser or something. I only just got a decent microphone recently so I haven't worked out some of the techniques to get a good sound, but so far it's helped to take out some of the bass in my voice and increase the mid level frequencies. I usually add a touch of reverb too to soften the sound, otherwise I get a kind of direct, telephone like quality that doesn't sound like a normal singing voice.

I thought I'd just add to my percussion track idea to say that it'd also be good to have a backing vocal kind of track, oohs and aahs, etc. Don't know if that's plausible or not, but I like backing vocals. It's just a bit odd sounding when you can tell it's the same person doing both!

backing vocals  could be tricky , they sometimes go along with the vocal to harmonise .. its not just  oooh's an arrrs ....  an to what you  want, would be hard think of  all the  frazes  an diffrent tones  theyde  have to be....   one idea is if if you have track  put it  too one of the  people on here   that have done vocals an do like collaboration ..with you  specifying what an where you want  ..
