Sent messages

I could be wrong, but I don't seem to have a way of looking at private messages I have sent to people. My outbox is empty, and I couldn't see anything else to click.

I have kind of an obssessive personality, so I like being able to check what I said, when and to whom. I'm looking forward to the day Google transcribes every conversation we have with everyone else in real life and logs it for easy searching. Sounds crazy, but I bet in 20 years it will be a reality, and what's more, we'll be used to it!

When you send a message, there is a checkbox at the bottom that says "Save a copy to my Outbox."  It's possible you didn't have that checked when you sent your previous messges.  You can change this to be checked by default in your user preferences.  Check that first.

Yep, found it eventually, thanks a lot. I guess at least if people have the same problem in the future, they'll find the answer here.
