Nov 20th, 2008 We just launched an interactive home screen without inhibiting the use of JamStudio!

The new panel below the JamStudio "application" will have Featured Artists (obviously), host Contests, How-To Videos, Product Reviews, teach music Lessons... etc.

Nevermind what WE want it to do... what do YOU want it to do?

(if you haven't seen it go to www.jamstudio.com and scroll down! - post a comment while you're at it)

The 'new panel' seems to be occupying more space than the JS application.

FOCUS should be more on the JS tool (both in the provider's perspective and the end user's perspective)

The game is bigger than the players and not vice-versa.

*  You can add a new button (like share, forum) --> call it say... Resources, Limelight... and put all this stuff there.

(OR)

*   Include a close button in this panel. Gives the end user the choice of closing this panel.

Eventually I think you might have to incorporate the TAB/MENU system. That's one way of not cluttering the interface.

 Just a fleeting thought.  Smiley

One big plus point of JS Interface is that 'it is simple'

Das ,i agree with you but i didnt comment in those thing because i already have other programs that can meet those needs.but some Jamstudio members may not.and i think that most people could sound that good with a 100 G studio behind them!
