The last thing that I felt were your lips as you kissed me goodnight
Shrouded in darkness, unconsciously drawn into the light
Shapes without substance, and shadowy forms without a face
It all rushes past me suspended in time and in space
I can’t recognize this place that I’m roaming through
The one thing that’s certain, I know that I’m searching for you

There is a sudden gleam, and a familiar theme, somehow I woke up in your dream
This is a well planned scheme, perhaps a bit extreme, somehow I woke up in your dream
Verse 2
I’m now in a hallway, I’m walking past rooms that have no doors
I keep hearing voices, they call out but none of them are yours
It feels like forever, I’m tired but no way I’m not stopping now
If I just keep walking, I’ll find you, though I’m really not sure how
From one of the rooms a familiar voice says come in
I know where I am, though I’m not certain where I’ve been

And you’re just sitting there, with this peculiar stare, “What are you doing in my dream?”
