Hmm....This is really fantastic.  It was only a couple of days ago, I asked you how these loops worked, and after you posted a screen shot of your project, I assumed that each loop must be delivered in the software, played singularly in all the various chords that are on the Jam studio page.  And then assembled in the desired order by the songwriter.  Am I right ?   It appears to me, after hearing your song , that although writing a song using the loops is a more intricate process, the variations in creating a song using the loops in this way are endless !  It takes the whole JS experience to a different level for sure.  I'm not sure I could do it at this point , but after hearing what you did with it....I'm convinced, this is something I should shoot for...or at least dream about.....Awesome work on this Ant...thanks for showing us the possibilities !.......

Dave what I do is I keep a copy of all Jamstudio loops on my desktop.By using my editing equipment [Mixcraft~5] I open the files that hold my Jamstudio loops so I can play then just like you where using Jamstudio Music factory.I pick out the sounds I want to use by just listing to the loops one by one.Now all I do is just start building by tracks.

Dumb question time: how do you change chords with loops? I downloaded a bass loop, duplicated it (in Audacity) and got it to sync up with the drum track more or less, but doing a chord progression was just out of my reach. I have got to be missing something. I assume mixcraft has a virtual keyboard or some other way to program in the notes. Is this correct?

  tips: most loops are recorded in a certain key.Try to record in the key of the loop if you don't you will need a DAW like Mixcraft~5 that can change the key for you.remember a loop alway sound the best when played in the key it was recorded in.To learn more about Mixcraft~5 here: http://johntigerant.com
