okay, so in brianeno's started topic about where everybody's from, Simple Voice started to talk about living in Ireland, so I thought it'd be cool if everybody described the perfect place to live for themselves.  As for myself, I'd have to say Japan, or to keep myself in my own country, I'd go to FL.  I know there's really no point to this, but it sort of shows how people think in a weird sort of way, you know?  Anyway, I'm interested to hear replies  Grin

I would really like to live in France.
Free health care, pays for most colleges.
It has less gun violence and strict gun laws.
I feel it is a safer place.

As for the US, I'll just stay in Ohio.

Like I said before, part of the reason I want to live in Ireland is 'cause I love Irish accents. Also in what little bit I've seen of it in movies, it is a very beautiful country. Not to mention, I'm a red head and my first name is Irish, so I'd fit in at least a little bit  Grin  The movie, "P.S I Love You" kind made me want to live in Ireland even more((I keep joking that my dream guy is a cute Irish guy that plays guitar and sings, you'd understand if you've ever seen the movie, especially if you're a girl))

I'd want to live in on a small ranch, surrounded by beautiful fields or near the sea with my own personal little cove.

If I had to stay in the U.S, I'd either want to move back to Texas((where I lived from when I was about 3 to when I was Cool) or Oregon, which is where I was born.

a nice quiet cottage in the Cotswolds..or by the sea in Brighton. Or a bright flat along the canals in Amsterdam. In the US, maybe along the coast in either North or South Carolina

France is very beautiful.  I went there once when I was little with my parents and got a little pooh-bear back pack.  lol.

FL is awesome!  My mom's family has a condo somewhere around there... very laid back, indeed!

I love all European accents... and I love the description you gave of the little ranch.  I might just steal your dream-location!  jk Grin

If any of you guys are looking for "nice quiet cottages" look in Nantucket, MA (ACK).  In "Sconny Town" (SiaSconset)  there are the cutest little cottages on the water with the most beautiful landscaping and the cutest little town.  Anything on the water is nice, too.  I love living on the coast!

Anybody else with a dream location???
