I just thought I'd share a little info. on a way to get your finished songs/music up for sale, on the digital download sites.
A warning before you do though. Make sure you own 100% rights to the music and, realize that, once you put a song on, it's not easy to remove. So, critique your creations through the ears of others who will be blunt and honest with their constructive feedback but, the final decision is yours because you can, unfortunately, come across envious people!
The site is called Tunecore:  www.tunecore.com  They charge a annual fee for individual tracks and, a fee for albums (2 or more tracks). You'll need a Pay Pal account to be able to withdraw your sales monies. You will own 100% of the royalties from your sales.
Check it out and let me know what ya think & if it's of use to ya.

hate to say this, but is there any way to sell music without paying for the service?  I'm guessing not, but anybody have any ideas to promote music?  just wondering about other people's thoughts...

Grin I don't really know of any myself. With songcast you will pay 19.95 to upload about 10 song. then 5.95/mo. after that.

I know it works if you sell music... but what if things don't sell?  Embarrassed Then it's just money down the drain, you know?  My cousin, who's thirty something or other, had that problem and was wondering himself.  I told him to turn his website into a music website and he could sell from there 'cause his site is popular  Smiley
