Does anybody know what is happening?  I think it's a setting I must have selected by accident, but it's really annoying me because I can't get any recording done!  SOS  Embarrassed

Grin You need to set your default key!   EXAMPLE: I use Mixcraft-4 and it records in the default key of C. But I can change it to record in any key that I want.

Mes I downloaded audacity and tested it myself. Its seams to work ok for me. check the key of the song that you are importing that may be the problem.

It usually works for me too, but my point is that I think I clicked a button somehow that has caused this.  It doesn't matter what key the song is in - no matter when I record or add something in, the key gets changed and then if I sing to the new key it sounds all wrong and horrible!  So does anybody else have any idea what I can do to fix it?  Thanks for trying though Ant... It's totally weird!  Shocked

Did you mess around with the Project Rate by any chance ?

It should be: 44100

Grin Mes if that don't work try to re-download the program again. When you delete the old one be sure to check your program files and delete any audacity files that may be there.
