Hi all, just wanted to let everyone know that I am going to release my first cd of music made using Jamstudio.  It will be released either through lulu.com or createspace.com or both.  Still have a couple of songs to create and it will be on the way.  Thanks Jamstudio!

nah, I actually just use the jamstudio.  I have no musical knowledge, no experience, no nothing, just love creating music, I am new to this whole thing.  Recently I decided I have to do something more with myself.  I'm 36, have diabetes, married with a daughter and one on the way and I decided that I did not want to be one of those people that has a shux load of regrets.  Last year I published a book through Wasteland Press (self-published) of poems and life stories called "meaningless meanderings of an overwhelmed zero-man" about my life long struggle with depression.  This year I am acting and am going to be in a short film being used as a student thesis and then sent to short film festival and now I am going to create a music cd throguh lulu.com which can only be purchased there, not like "real" music cds but it's something.  I have no delusions about my music being great or getting rich, believe me.  In fact my book only sold two copies as of the end of December and it is available worldwide on the net.  I just want to express myself musically now, whether it's good or bad and I have Jamstudio to thank for that.

Impressive, sounds like you have alot of ambition and creativity. There is also a site called http://www.cdbaby.net/dd  you can also sell your music through them on various other sites with digital distribution. I haven't used them but have looked their site over a few times. When I learned about Jamstudio I gave it some serious thought. Good luck with everything.

that's a good start.  now try playing around with different volume levels to change up the mix.  and you can also try adding some quiet sustained sounds in the background.  that's what i what i would do next.
