Connect one song to another song? Lets say I want to connect Now Hear This to Eve, Baby, for example.

Well, if you want to make it exact, you'd have to be using some kind of measure-sensitive software, such as Cubase or Pro Tools.  These allow you to set the tempo down to 3 decimal places and shows you each measure, beat, etc.  You could then line everything up exactly where it needs to be and export it as a WAV or MP3 or whatever.

Or, if you just want it close enough, you can go in some free program, such as Audacity, zoom in real close, and move everything together as best you can.  When you're zoomed in pretty far, you should be able to move everything over to almost exactly where it should be.  Either way, you'll be close enough not to really hear any difference when played live.

Hey Jump Man- Thanks for some real out of the box thinking there, I always thought that was my forte'. That was spectacular. I'll try it I'll gie it a go. However, I still trying to put a lame directory in my audacity. Some you can hear my voice, and in order for me to put both s & A on share, but in the meantime I've learned a new trick! Let's call this one "Threadin the Needle" Because in essence we are sewing to songs together.Boatride8

Try this:
  • Open Audacity
  • Click Edit > Preferences...
  • Click File Formats on the left
  • Under the MP3 Export Setup section, click the Find Library button, which should allow you to find your lame.dll file (or whatever the name is)

Does that help?
