When I DL my song "Fallen Stars". parts of the page 3 sounds completely different (and those parts kinda made the song)  Cry
However, I think it's the sus chords.. They sounded so beutiful in JS, but when I downloaded my song they sound... Wrong?  Lips sealed
I am quite ok with it, but I would like know why..So I know who to avoid it in the future.

Try listen to the JS one yourselves.. (page 3)

Victor, I found the same thing in a couple of my tunes, especially Always Coming Home, where I balanced files for a particular sound, and the mp3 is way out. Huh Could be just one of the freaky things about digital? Ant should know...

Grin First lets start with this! What is a MP3 file:
MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3, more commonly referred to as MP3, is a popular digital audio encoding, lossy compression format, and algorithm, designed to reduce greatly the number of data required to represent audio, yet still sound like a faithful reproduction of the original uncompressed audio to most listeners.
When you record a song in Jamstudio it will be recorded in a WAVE file. When you upload the file to your e-mail address its changed to a MP3 file.So now it seams you are losing sound Quality.I have listened to your Jamstudio file a few times and I have found that a lot of your instruments are being played in full volume and I hear a lot of Distortion.try going back and edit your sound and then resend the MP3 file to your e-mail address.Remember that if you play an instrument to loud you do not have music, its noise.

Hi Ant..

I understand completely about loss in conversion but, I don't think this is the problem here. I too have experiance the same problem at times. It seems that when u compose a song with JS using the chord variations, the variation changes back to the root chord when file is converted to mp3. This rarely happens and seems to only happen when u deleate a chord or use the insert.

It does make a big difference if you reduce the volume down on each instrument on JS before you DL to MP3.    Thanks
