I would like to inform you that I am going to be on “Hiatus.”

I will no longer be creating any music here or post as often as I used to. There are a lot of problems in my life that I need to fix before I can resume this responsibility. This is no bodies fault other than my dumb mistakes and I am learning to deal with it.
Let just say, I might get some counseling. My parents found out about my depression and I am trying to embrace the bright side.
Also, I have fallen in love with a beautiful girl and I love her more than anything.
And I am not giving any names but, she might be the only reason I will still post on JS. She is just that important.
To Ant: Sorry, I was not able to get my votes in. I had much worse things to worry about than the contest.
To Victor and Wyotryot: Keep working on my song if you like. I have no use for those.
And to my loyal fans, I will still be on. I will just not be as much of an active member.
   Sorry folks.

With much love,

Matthew T. Sims

Keep rocking it out, Matt, anyways you can. I applaud your courage to address the problems in your life. I am glad your parents are in on your depression, because that should never ever be a secret. Keep writing your lyrics, show your counsellor and your parents, and anyone else sympathetic.
We're pulling for you. And things do have a way of working out.
Everybody sing
"To everything turn turn turn
There is a season turn turn turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven!"
Peace, Matt.

Hi Matt !

Sorry to hear about your troubles, and I'm glad to hear that you're ready to face them.....Counseling is a good call....A member of my family suffered from depression for a long time, and it was counseling that brought peace back into their life.........Best wishes......and keep writing, that wil help too !....... Uhmmm...
I'm hanging in there. I just realized that I am actually going to be on alot more than I intended. I'll still be a consistant member but, I will be on about 30-50 minute every week or so....
I'm not going to quit, but my writing has dried up a bit.

dude i don't know you, but i know about depression i've dealt with it for years. keep looking up and express yourself don't bottle things up or hold them in. i've listened to some of your stuff on here you are extremely talented and your dry phase will depleat. remember songs are everywhere even in things we do daily a drive to work, a trip to the dentist, everywhere. keep an open mind and you will open the creative caverns of your mind. peace and good luck.

Victor, I just had to qoute you.

Lets just say that both those emotions cancel each other out. So you shouldn't feel anything.

And about the "crush." I would like to be official and say that it was more than a crush. Things were looking like the makings of a long relationship. But, sadly, I ended it. Their was to much stress.
