So I just bought my pass today, and was trying to check out the oft-mentioned mp3 mix feature. First thing I tried it out on was this: http://www.jamstudio.com/Studio/FWSongShare.asp?SongNum=596708&SongId=596916Just something I'm working on; still very rough as of now. But when I downloaded the mp3, no sound played. I tested another song of mine, an older one, and it worked perfectly though. So why isn't this one song playing any sound? I've tried sending it to myself multiple times, but to no avail. Considering it was the skipping in this track which finally put me over the edge and made me buy the pass, I am understandably upset.

Did you try it again? Maybe the bits were lost in translation? I've sent the mp3 to myself to see what might happen but my net is extremely slow right now, it seems, as it hasn't come through to my email yet. I'll let you know what happens when it does.

I've tried again and again... the last time only a minute ago. No sound whatsoever.

okay, that's interesting...same here: definitely no sound and certainly not 6 pgs of length in my wmplayer. I just tried it again, with same results, although this time the player is reacting to something in the file (playing the arbitrary video designs) but no sound. Total sound file was only 1:41, but maybe that would be right at 151bpm. Try remaking your song: I do that by signing into another JamStudio, starting a new song, and re-entering all the data step by step (sometimes it gets better!). Then try the same thing, sharing, and mp3 send. Since there was no sound for me as well, I can only suggest your original file was corrupted somehow. Oh those crazy gremlins

What the hell. I turned the tempo down to 143, from 151, and now the sound plays. However, the Soul electric guitar instrument cuts off for no reason at two points, in the middle of a page, and the song is too slow paced now. Apparently, the mp3 mix can't handle something simple such as a high tempo.
I am not a happy customer.

I don't think that's the problem - I now find I'm hearing no sound at all. Occasionally, like all servers, they crash. A moderator will pick up on this and put in a support ticket, then all will be right with the world. Same thing happened the first week I got on. Patience.

I just subscribed, and I'm having the same problem. Some of my files work ok, but most of them are just coming back as complete silence, or silence with a few odd seconds of muffled corrupted sounds. Not a good start. But I'm hoping from looking here on the forum that this is maybe just a temporary glitch, and will get fixed soon. *fingers crossed*

Hey, Ginger-Snap, as you can see in the post above yours, Ant, the moderator, is on this problem. It will take a while to get sorted out, but these guys work hard on fixing any dirty rotten glitches that pop up. Computers: so much fun, so much agony If you use music production software, like Audacity or Mixcraft or Sony ACID (all with free versions) you could load in a slower version, and speed it up in the production. Have fun!

Well, I just finished my song, and the mp3 mix worked perfectly for both parts of it. So I think the problem has been resolved for now.
