If you're talking windows movie maker just use the tutorial! It's quite simple: basically set up your photos (or vid clips), put your music on the timeline, then drag and drop your photos and clips in - that's a very basic version, because you will want to align your clips with the music, fade in/out and other effects, etc.

Tutorial? Look for the HELP buttons. I remember the first time I used WMM it wanted to show me everything! Once you got the hang of it it's pretty basic.

 Grin Das gave me this the other day.it will work on 32/64 bit windows 7:
this is what I'm useing thanks to Das:
Windows Live Movie Maker which comes as a part of Windows Live  Essentials (Free) is a good video editor.
