Hey Tan X own,  good question, but I think Ant has covered it. The answer is one...the one you think sounds the best, based on the type of song your creating. There is no right or wrong, best or worst, appropriate or inappropriate, which is the beauty of composing or creating your own music. Not to mention that alot of contemporary music combines different styles together, maybe like GreenDay "Give Me Novacaine," or  Linkin Park "Numb," or My Chemical Romance "Black Parade," and so on and so on. You may want to change it up like these songs or stay generic throughout like say, The Talking Heads, "Psycho Killer." Just remember my friend, there is only "one right sound" for your song...the one you pick. Late, eno
