how come sometimes there are all the sounds. then it changes back to the stock sounds.
Im confused with this program, seems like there is lots of bugs in it. But it is a good tool if I can figure it all out.

I just figured something out.
When clicked on chord variations there was limited sounds on the Acoustic gtr sounds, but when I clicked off of variations it went back to more sounds. Bizzare.

Yeah I also had problems with this when I was new. I think this should be fixed.   Smiley

I noticed the reduction in sounds seemed to occur with certain regularity, so I deduced it must be a simple bug.  Upon further testing, located the point of reproducability.  When the user clicks the 'Variations' checkbox in the Chords panel, the list of sounds available is filtered accordingly.  I assumed that this was per design since Actionscript doesn't execute itself (it needs to have a listener attached to the checkbox that allows the list of sounds to be filtered), and as such simply unchecked the checkbox to obtain the full set of sounds (strumming patterns in my case) once again.

Im pretty sure that when JS recorded the loops for the variations, they did not record variations for all the instrument choices, if this is not correct please let me know.

Yeah or maybe they have added sounds later on without recording them with the variation chords.

that sounds about right. I don't think there's too many glitches, just things to work around.
