I have talked to Clint about the idea of posting cover tunes in the forums. This is His comment on the subject "I believe covering a song and posting it on line for free download is ok, charging for the download is not" So from what I understand if you want to record and post cover tunes we will take a blind eye.But you to try to sale one then you will be beat with a stick.

A big stick works however. What was it that Clint Eastwood said in "Pale Rider?" (After he complely disables and ditryoys the local gang of bullys with an ax handle.) "Nothing like a good piece of hickory!" Late all you cover tune peoples, eno

Why not create a section for Karaoke Producer and allow folks to post cover tunes there? The conditions for posting cover tunes could be:
1. Must have all access pass
2. A JamStudio product must be used in the creation of the song, preferably Karaoke Producer.
3. Entrants agree upon entry not to to sell any cover songs.

If this is popular, then maybe a cover song contest down the road.

Just some suggestions. Personally, I am not a big fan of cover tunes although there are a couple I wouldn't mind trying to do.  Might be fun. Smiley

that sounds like a good idea in retrospect camo, but not the karaoke producer. i don't use it. so why not allow them to make the cover on jamstudio and add vocals however they want. Cool
