hey folks how good is your scream?? im looking for a singer who has a rock n metal style vocal tone for one of my song, im not saying its a rock song lol it just the vocal tone im looking for Cheesy.

The song is called Just like me. No matter how many times i sing it over to myself with my own vocal it just doesn't work.
my vocal tone is somewhat alright to suit this song but its not what im feeling. I can give you vocal References for vocalization and flow.

Just let me know, if you have the time and ill send the info. Cheesy

ok camo i have only layed down first verse chorus and bridge as the rest of lyrics vocalize the same way. will complete when i find the vocal tone im looking for. :

and if your looking for the screaming part its starts at the chorus  more of a high octave than a scream lol. but if you can feel it then youll find the spot camo Cheesy.

Also im thinking of a deep bass metal style vocal for verse and rock vocal style on the chorus and bridge. and if your confused, that make 2 of us lol.

First link vocal reference for verse chorus and bridge
Box net mp3 http://www.box.net/shared/xf36aipp13

Second link vocal reference for chorus and bridge style vocal tone. the vocal tone im looking for camo in when i start the chorus ( have you ever had heartache) , im hoping to create the tone using 1 vocal lol instead of backup making up the tone Cheesy.

play around with vocalizations see what ya come up with good luck
Just like me

Verse 1
I’ve been searching for
The perfect time
To get down on one Knee
Sweet smelling perfume
Starts to enter the room
I turn to see you weren’t there for me

Chorus
Have you ever had heartache
Have you ever been lonely
Then you’ve been suffering Just like me
Have you ever been ridiculed
Have you ever been schooled a Fool
Then you’ve been used and abused Just like me

Bridge
I cant waste one more minute of time
Thinking how could this be
Cant get emotionally discouraged when I
Can see that this is just reality
( I just gotta move ooooon)

Verse 2
Now I hope and pray that one sweet day
I will find some one
To give my true love to never treat me cruel
and tell me im the only one.

Chorus
Have you ever had heartache
Have you ever been lonely
Then you’ve been suffering Just like me
Have you ever been ridiculed
Have you ever been schooled a Fool
Then you’ve been used and abused Just like me

Bridge
I cant waste one more minute of time
Thinking how could this be
Cant get emotionally discouraged when I
Can see that this is just reality
(I just gotta move ooooon)

Hey Glen. Nice tune. I was singing along with the lyrics and everything seemed to fit (was waiting for where you were hearing the scream part), but I couldn't fit in that block of lines that starts "I can't waste one more minute...". I used pgs3 and 1 as intro, put the start of verse 1 at the start of pg2, with chorus pg4, and I thought it sounded pretty good, but then I couldn't fit in that section.
School this fool, willya...

lol wyo the screaming part is in the chorus when you get out those rock vocals lol. i just cant vocalize it not even to show intent so im hoping someone can feel it when they sing and apply the scream Cheesy.

It took me ahwile, but here is what I came up with. I realy couldnt go much louder or higher with the "scream" part without losing my place in the song, or making an edit, so I did the best I could with it. Second verse is probably not the vocal rhythm Omega quite had in mind, but all the words are there and it seems to fit ok. I really appreciate the opportunity to do this, it was a pleasure.

Cool yeh loving it camo you've really got the flow on this song perfect bud, considering the root chord is very high you've done an awesome job.

I think ill have to change the root chord to allow more impact in the chorus, by doing this it would also affect the starting of the song into a lower register.

Its worth a shot i think personally and it will allow a more comfortable vocal range for you.

ill record the whole song to vocal reference and take the chord down a couple if your still interest Cheesy.

Any way thanks again Camo and kudo bud i can personally tell you it aint an easy song to sing if not have a solid high register, so take a bow.

Nice work guys. This song is heading very cool - I woouldn't worry too much about that screaming part - sometimes screaming is just a matter of the tightness of your whities Shocked Grin
I think yous guys should harmonize
