Hello everyone,

I do not know who remembers me at all.  It's been a while.  I've been busy with moving and adjusting to a new day job.

I've still been busy musically.  I did release an album last year online and currently working on a second record.  60 or so songs I'm deciding from.

Looking to connect with those I worked on music with previously on here.  Maybe some new ones Smiley

It's been a while and I should re-re-introduce myself.

Robert J. Dudas here.  From Pennsylvania and currently living in the UK.  It's been a while because of my day job ... but no worries ...
I'm hopefully a success story as someone who started here as for recording.
I have an album called, "What's Your Big Mess" from 2009, which was likely totally done with jam-recorder (literally me learning the home-recording business).
I am now the 4th signee with Image Audio Records Worldwide (IARW) of Producer Gabriel Ceyrolles.
Looking to record in 2014 upon my return to the States!
Likely have over 500 songs to choose from during 24-25 years of writing as of 2012.

Always yours,
Robert J. Dudas

Hi Joey... I don't think we've met... I've only been on JS for about 18 months... so hello and welcome back to JS... I'd like to hear one of your songs you created with the jam-recorder... or one of you're new ones... post us a link so we can check out what it takes to be a signee. Smiley

Ant ... my old friend Smiley

Emjay - Here are a couple links.  The first has "Consider" from the first record, which was done on jamrecorder for the album.  "Temperamental Star" is circa late 90's-early 2000's.

Next is "Amphibian", which was done with layers of complete jam-recorder.

Some more recent that are only youtube releases thus far ... demos of "Read the Hearth" and "The Fall In June".

I played all the instruments on my first record, which taught me spacial value and timing between the different instruments.  My next project will have fellow musicians involved, which means a lot less production for myself ... thank you Jesus! Smiley  The main thing is to bring energy, your creativity, and a sound structure.  From there ... just let it happen.  JamSudio also was a great tool in my learning curve and process, which I combined with music theory learned over 15+ years ago.  JS let me have an idea of how my idea would really sound with all instruments.  -rjd

Thanks Emjay ... here are some actual Jamstudio based versions of a song I worked with two  people from here on.  Badinfluence8 started the original track while ckil added a piano piece and then I put down a vocal ...

Go to the Public Share and look up COPY and COPY II lake shore drive for what were the original tracking and then the added part.
Then check out the vocal addition, which was a rough cut, but was cool to do:

I ended up with going for a cause with my addition, which I am thankful that badinfluence8 was cool with.  I turned the song into "Procurement (Lake Shore Drive)", which the lyrics speak to finding a cure for Parkinson's.  I pitched the song Michael J. Fox's way, but it never got off the ground.  None-the-less, the song exists and I have it on a yahoo group I started for find the cure for Parkinson's ... called ... Cure Parkinson's Disease.  I try to do as much good as I can with my song collaborations or song inputs.
