NO! Once you make your song, you may do with it as you wish. If you add vocals or some other melody to make it a complete song to distribute, you can even copyright it as your own. The only restriction is this: you didn't play all the instruments. We did. You made the chord progression, the mix, and the instrumentation. The only thing you actually performed was your voice or other instruments you added to a JamStudio.com MP3 Mix. Don't claim that you played something you didn't. Thanks, and happy music making!

does this mean that you could record a song from jamstudio with your voice and whatnot even if you're not an all-access member and still use the song whatever way you like? or do you have to pay to be able to do that?

What it means is if you have an all access pass you own the music if you do not Jamstudio does!So if Jamstudio own's the music you cannot copyright it.

As long as you are an all access member and you get the MP3 sent to your e-mail address you own the song if not Jamstudio owns the rights to the songs.

Just so everything's clear in this head of mine, I need answers to a few questions.
If I had an all access account, and downloaded to my computer a song I made while an all access pass member, and then I canceled my pass, would I still own the song or would you?
If I made a song, then bought an all access account, and modified the song, would I own the new song and you own the old? What if I merely took the song and improved it with the all access account tools?
If I try to be sneaky and make a song in your system while a regular member but instead of saving it just write all the details about it in a Word document, then get an all access account and plug the details back into your program to reconstruct the song and save it, do I own the song or do you?
Why won't Jessica Alba return my phone calls? (OK, this one's just a joke.)
And just to clear things up, I do NOT have an all access pass, but am considering getting one in the future.

Thanks for the answers, but the answer to this one confuses me. Are you saying no, I wouldn't own the song, or no, you wouldn't? And how much would I have to pay you for you to tell Jessica Alba to return my phone calls? Chizzle, Vectizzle,

You would own the song. And when Jessica Alba comes over tonight I'll ask her for you.
