Popular music is trashy now a days...Lady Gaga aka Stephanie Germotta was actually quite talented before she became lady gaga and the stuff she used to write had meaning, now she does it for money. It's sad. I don't want to end up like that. But in the industry if you don't play by their rules...you are outed and you stuff doesn't sell nor do you get exposure. It's sad, because all people want is good music, not this autotuned synthesized bull crap they keep spitting out every other week. Sure it gets people dancing on the dancefloor, but after the club they don't care about the song. I honestly believe that Jessie J's song Pricetag is accurate when she sings It's not about money it's about making the world dance." But I also think that the industry has an agenda and that's to corrupt the youth. Music shouldn't be about that.

Yeah, alot of songs are overrated, which sucks because all of my friends are like "OMG I LOVE THIS SONG IT'S LIKE MY THEME SONG!" an I'm like "This song is stupid it's about getting high, having sex, and killing people." friend: "oh..."
