Quagmire

my days were dark
future's not so bright
i realized my sin
am livin it

the sadness loomed
my future doomed
i turned to nietzsche
cause i'm no phd

the day's chores
washed away my sores
i got through the nights
in the hope i'd see light

but i can see clearly
there's none to come
too late it's done
too late it's done

night's dipping
and the crowd:quipping
they don't understand
the pain i'm in

this quagmire of pain
is drivin me insane
so i hope i fade
and be free again
