I should have put this here in the first place. Here is SO THEY SAY - just got done the vocals, so maybe this is a demo version (aren't they all?) Shannon(guitarplayer)'s lyrics - only slightly tweaked. My music. My production. Hope you like it. http://www.box.net/shared/kch7447pe5

I just listened to make sure the link was solid and I can hear a very high pitched hum, one I thought I had removed. Anyone know a good tool for this annoyance?

pitch perfect wyo im trying to pick your vocal preference bud it sound very opera? cabert? or choir?. i turley love your vocals bud it has a sense of natural hamonics behind it probably due to your vocal preference. the only other thing i would guess is your a vocal teacher . great interp on GP lyrics wyo this is a solid allround creation, kudos Shannon and wyo

thanks Das and Omega! Still waiting to hear how Shannon likes it. Om, I like ALL vocal music - still trying to figure out how to blend deathmetal and gregorian chants.

glad you liked it, Shannon. I tried it at 100bpm and it just didn't work - the sound changed too much, and I felt the hopefulness was lost; it almost felt anthemic (as in arena rock-like) and I didn't want that. Maybe it was the lone piano and voice? Anyways, glad you liked it. You can put this one in your portfolio.

Idk I was thinking something like lone voice with a guitar with like a folksy feel to it but I'm glad that we can fuse our views on the song thanks Wyo

Awesome job guys! I wouldn't mind hearing the "arena rock" version too. Death metal and Gregorian chants....now there is an idea! If you ever decide to develop that idea Wyo, I can do a mean death metal voice. I am sure you could rock those Gregorian chants! Send me a pm if interested, I already have a JS track that we could probably use. Either way, Death Metal meets Gregorian chants gets my vote for your next project.
