I don't get my songs sent by mail again - is this a recurrent problem here in JamStudioHuh

If it is, wouldn't it be a better idea having a download-system?

Also, while I'm at it, what about a site where we could post our finished works?

That would be great Smiley

Thanks for answering me, jkenney - but 'probably today' somehow just isn't good enough as long as this is a pay-site, don't you agree?

When I bought access, there was no warning that the system would work 'most of the time' - if it was, I wouldn't have bought it - that

And I know, of course, that there are lots of sites offering people to put their music there - what I had in mind was more of a community

for the users of JamStudio in specific Smiley

Grin The problem is being worked on! It's not Jamstudios fault if the hosting servers go down. And Jamstudio does work usually I know I am here 12 hours a day on and off checking it.You should be backing up your song when you make then.

The system hasn't been working for at least the last 12 hours - maybe longer, but that's how long I have experienced problems.

I believe no server problems should last that long - and if they do, one should really concider changing ones servers or web hotel...!

My point is that I -like any paying customer - expect to get what I was promised in the first place.

Of course I realize there might be difficulties and hang-up's from time to time, I don't have a problem with that.

But when that obviously happens quite often, and also takes a day or two to fix  - then it's not just

a 'these things happen' anymore, in my opinion.

So this is actually a server-problem? Are you sure?

Naa, i don't agree because things do happen. I'm a member of a few sites and every so often they might shut down for a whole weekend for maintanence or something might go wrong. They are fixing it. Wink

Hi annesusanne !.........Thank you for letting us know that something isn't working ......Sometimes, the JS server goes down....and for what reason ?....none of us in the forum are quite sure .... I just sent in an Mp3 request for one of my songs to test the system, and I didn't get anything in my email either.....

In almost 3 years since I've been using JS, the longest I've seen the system go unresponsive for an Mp3 request has been 3 days.  And it isn't a comon occurance.  On rare occasions it has happened but, the staff at JS always gets it worked out .....Thanks for being a member of the forum who isn't afraid to speak up !........we NEED you in here !......... Cool

My 2cents worth, here. Dave's right, server problems are temporary, the longest has been 3 days, and it's always been fixed by the Monday. I think I've been on JS for 2 years now, and this issue has only happened 3-4 times. Patience, AnneSusanne, is definitely a virtue. Although, I remember the first time it happened to me I was hot in the middle of a tune I was trying to complete that weekend. I had to pull all my old meditation tricks out of the bag Grin
welcome to JamStudio, AnneSusanne, and thank you for your voice. Very much looking forward to your songs...
