I posted earlier that my song had not entirely downloaded.  I counted and I have 37 page order numbers.
I wondered if there was a cutoff amount? Thanks so much for your information.  Smiley

Grin I think that Jamstudio will only record a little over 4 minutes befoe it cuts off. What you need to do is record your songs in two sessions and splice the two  sessions together.

Me and a lot of Jamstudio members can do the splicing for you.You will need the use of a audio editor or DAW to do the splicing.

Ant I've made a 7 minute song before on JS as an experiement to see how long I can create a song...it all depends on how many measures you use on each page...

Thanks for the advice.  It's disappointing to have to have changed my song into a simpler format.
The song I composed sounded extra interesting and well composed as I used only one line of
music on all five pages and then composed wonderful sound using 2 pages of music for one
verse and alternating them one after the other, but the page order was up to 37 for just a
four minute song.  I did re-do it and did two lines of music for each page and ended up with
a page order of seventeen.  It went through, the whole song this time.  I did so again with the
other song I had created, once again getting rid of a lot of interesting blends.   Cry  That song
also passed through in this reduced manner.  Oh well................... It was so much fun using
all those pages to create more interesting and professional sounding music.  Do not know
anything about joining two songs together and do not have the equipment or extra program
to do that.  Thanks for helping me understand the limits of Jam Studio.
At least I know what the problem with the download is about.  Thanks again for your help.

Grin if you can put the song back as you want it,I may be able to help you. Record as much of the song as you can, and you will call it page #1. record more and, call it page#2 and so on and so on. I can put it together for you and record it as one song.

you can email me the MP3 files if you wanta.
also your copyright info so I can burn it into your MP3 master.
Author of the song.

there is a limit to the number of pages in a tune - I think it tops out at 24.

Hi Susan !.......wyot is right.....we've discovered that 24 pages is usually the max number of pages you can put into the page order box before the end of your song gets chopped off in the MP3.....Ant is right too,  if you use mixing software, just save your song in two parts and then link them up in the mix !.... Cool

37 pages huh ?.......I'm dyin to hear this song !!!........ Grin
