Hey, everyone. I am an elementary school music teacher, and I often write my own material for classroom use and even for concert performances. I don't know what I would do without JamStudio. The kids enjoy singing so much more when they can have cool background tracks to sing with. The one frustration I have, though, is making a song sound finished. I think we need some more rhythm patterns that play only on 1 or on 1, 2, and 3. That is especially true for drums and piano. At least accoustic guitar has the One Strum, but we need some more things like that. It would even be great if an ending version could be done for some of the rhythms (i.e., Sit Back & Sit Back Ending) so we could use the ending version on our last measure.
I have listened to some of the featured artists to see how they are ending their songs, and often they just stop abruptly, so obviously others struggle with the same problem. If I use the fade-out tactic, then I have turn down the volume manually, which is a pain if I am conducting.
Does anyone else have any thoughts or ideas about this? Does this bother anyone else but me? Any advice and/or commiserating will be welcome.
