Hi all, Ive been away awhile taking care of family matters. Lately I started messing with Magix Music Maker. This song needs another chorus and a bridge yet and also needs different drums most likely in places. The bongo's at the end are messed up and I still have to redo it. But I just wanted your opinion as whether I should even bother. This program has been a bear to learn. If it stinks it stinks, just let me know where it may have promise. Hey LooknGlass... I don't know how you did that but that was pretty cool... This is far from stinking man... I think you're being way too hard on yourself man. It definately rocks and the lead riff about 1.07 in, fits in awesome. Maybe lift the bass a little and just cut or fade the bongo's at the end , and let the riff play itself out. Just a suggestion there man. Keep playing...  |

It definately rocks and the lead riff about 1.07 in, fits in awesome. Maybe lift the bass a little and just cut or fade the bongo's at the end , and let the riff play itself out. Just a suggestion there man. Keep playing... Thanks Emjay, this piece kinda fell together as I was trying new sounds from the sound pool. I wish I could play an instrument to add the sound that's in my head, but I'm stuck using just the program. I'm not even close to being a musician so I'm always leery that it might sound right or cool to me, but to others it may sound terrible. I appreciate the suggestions and will try out different ending. |

I 'm glad you like it.I used the new Mixcraft~6 to mix it with. Its in beta so we are still working on the bugs. I took your track and split it and panned one 50% to the left and the other 50% to the right.I compressed both tracks and added a master limiter. Also at the beginning of the song I started one track panned 100% to the left and the other one panned 100% to the right. I moved them both to center as the song started.
