Hi Guys and Gals,

I am beta testing the new Mixcraft 6 and made a demo. The loops are not from Mixcraft. They are from the Magix Music Maker series. I wanted to see how easy it is to import loops and how well the program handles. Well here is a short demo.

Hi Dave,

Thx. Well... I dont consider myself new to music production, so I could'nt really give you a good aspect from a beginners point of view but, It is very intuitive. It has alot more bells and whistles than previous versions from what I read but, I would imagine that this is prolly the easiest of all music production suites or digital audio workstations (DAW). This product in my opion is a no brainer for people wanting to be able to dive right in and yet have something powerful enough to do most if not all anyone would want at a much more advanced level as well. And the price fits the bill.

Geez, I sound like a sales rep. LOL but seriously, this is the best all around DAW when you consider all the factors which includes the learning curve.

Robert

P.S. Thx to all for the nice comments.  Cheesy

Wow wow wow!  Robert, that is very very cool!

I have just started playing with Mixcraft as well.  I just wish I could find chord rhythm pattern loops like we have in JamStudio.

For example, 2 bars, C Major chord, strummed on an acoustic guitar.  Or 4 bars of Fender Precision bass, playing a D Major pattern.

I know JLoops exist, and I will probably buy that...but they don't have all the chords available on JamStudio, like 7ths, maj7, min7 and suspended.

Hi Mike,

I used loops from the sound pool series. they can be found here. http://www.magix.com/us/soundpools-media-packages/
Here are some other links you may find suitable.

The program I've just started using... Studio One... and I'd say most other programs do too, lets me create my own loops Smiley I just plug my guitar in and press record, play what I want, trim the track to desired length and press duplicate. Smiley For that matter I could take a JS loop, modify it how ever I want and duplicate that as well. The possibilities are endless come to think of it. Smiley
