This tutorial will teach you how to upload a JamStudio.com creation to a thread on the JamStudio.com Forum.

There are three ways to post a song to the JamStudio.com Forum:
  • Direct link to the song on JamStudio.com
  • Attachment to a JamStudio.com Forum post
  • Link within a JamStudio.com Form post to a third-party file host

Posting with a direct link to JamStudio.com
  • Login to JamStudio.com and open your song
  • Click the Share button at the top and enter your own email address.
  • Login to your email and open the email you just sent yourself.
  • Copy the link from the email and paste it into your JamStudio.com Forum post.
  • Here is an example: syl20 posted this topic about her song.

Attachment to a JamStudio.com forum post
  • Type your post, but before sending it click Additional Options... below the textbox.
  • Here, you will see a textbox labeled Attach with a Browse... button.  Click on Browse... to find the file you wish to upload.
  • Select the file you wish to upload and click OK.

Linking to a third-party host
  • Upload your song to a third-party host, such as Box.net or SoundClick.com.
  • Post a link to your song in your JamStudio.com Forum post.

We are anxious to hear all of your songs, so start writing!

I'm not sure I understand.  If you want to have a URL link to your song on JamStudio.com, do the following (you won't be able to add tracks to this):
  • Login on JamStudio.com and save your song
  • Click Share and email yourself your song
  • Copy the link in the email you receive and paste it in a post on the forum. This will allow others to play with your instrumentation, chord progressions, etc. on JamStudio.com.

If you want to upload the actual file to the Internet (i.e., and MP3 with vocals, other instruments, etc.), you can use a third-party host, like Box.net, like I mentioned above in the FAQ.

Does that answer your question?
